Methodology

How the work is done, and how it can be checked.

Method is not an appendix at ENDERIUM. Sourcing, derivation, labelling, revision and review are published so that any reader can test a finding rather than trust it.

Source hierarchy

  1. 01

    Official Turkish sources

    TÜİK, the CBRT, ministries, the Official Gazette, regulators and other relevant official bodies.

  2. 02

    Supranational and international primary institutions

    Eurostat, the European Commission, the OECD, the IMF, the World Bank, the WTO, US official statistics and comparable bodies.

  3. 03

    Company primary sources

    Annual reports, regulatory filings, investor-relations disclosures and other company-primary records.

  4. 04

    Industry associations and chambers

    Sector bodies, chambers of commerce and specialist trade data where primary records do not reach.

  5. 05

    High-quality secondary sources and financial press

    Established financial and specialist press, used as a legitimate secondary tier and attributed as such.

Evidence labels

  • ESTIMATE

    A value ENDERIUM has calculated or approximated because no published figure exists.

  • PROJECTION

    A forward value derived from a stated model and stated assumptions.

  • SCENARIO

    A conditional path, explicitly not a forecast, used to test consequence.

  • INFERENCE

    A conclusion drawn from evidence that does not state it directly.

  • ENDERIUM ANALYSIS

    Interpretation and judgement authored by ENDERIUM, separated from fact.

Labels are applied selectively and only where they change how a statement should be read. Unlabelled figures are sourced fact.

Source hierarchy

Approved current principles

  • Sources are ranked, and the rank is disclosed. Official Turkish records sit at the top, followed by supranational institutions, company-primary records, industry bodies, then high-quality secondary sources and financial press.
  • Lower-tier material is used where higher-tier records do not reach, and is attributed to its tier rather than presented as equivalent.
  • Where a claim rests only on secondary reporting, that is stated in the publication.

Sourcing rules

Approved current principles

  • Every figure published by ENDERIUM carries its source and its data cut-off.
  • Where two credible sources disagree, both are shown and the discrepancy is explained rather than resolved silently.
  • Definitions matter: series with differing coverage, base years or methodologies are never combined without an explicit reconciliation note.

Derived metrics and calculation methodology

Approved current principles

  • Any metric ENDERIUM calculates rather than reproduces is marked as derived, with its inputs, formula and treatment of missing values stated.
  • Currency, deflator, seasonal-adjustment and aggregation choices are disclosed where they materially affect a result.

Data update policy

Approved current principles

  • Data is refreshed against the publishing calendar of the underlying source, not on a fixed marketing schedule.
  • Each surface states the date through which its data runs.

Revisions

Approved current principles

  • Source revisions are carried through, and material revisions are noted on the affected publication.
  • The intended standard is that prior versions remain identifiable so a reader can see what changed and when.

Corrections

Approved current principles

  • Errors are corrected openly. Corrections are recorded on the publication rather than removed from it.
  • A correction states what was wrong, what it is now, and whether the conclusion changes.

  • ENDERIUM research is citable: each publication carries a stable title, date and, where applicable, a version reference.
  • Third-party data remains attributed to its originating institution wherever it appears.

The role of AI in research

  • AI may assist retrieval, translation, structuring and consistency checking.
  • Published ENDERIUM judgements and derived figures require human verification and accountable review.

Human review principle

Approved current principles

  • The governing principle is that published figures, claims and judgements are verified by a person who is accountable for them.
  • Where evidence does not support a conclusion, ENDERIUM publishes the uncertainty instead of the conclusion.
